If you want to find out more about the job of distributor you can do so here!
Start the training now.
District
The area where you deliver the advertising.
When you start work as one of our distributors you get your own delivery area, which we call a delivery district.
Distribution
We deliver three different types of printed matter.
Unaddressed Direct Mail
Every week you will deliver standard advertising. We only deliver to those who want to receive advertising, i.e. not to those who have a "No thanks / Nej tack" sign.
Community information
Some weeks you will have group mailings to deliver. This may be information from the church, the local authority or a political party, for example.
Group mailings are not regarded as advertising and must be delivered to all letterboxes, even if there is a sign which says otherwise!
Free newspapers
In many districts we also deliver a free newspaper. It is important that you deliver this newspaper to everyone, even if they have a "no thanks / Nej tack" sign. If there is a sign which says that the householder doesn't want to receive free newspapers, you must not deliver the newspaper to that property.
Now to the first question:
To which TWO letterboxes do we deliver free newspapers?
Printed matter
We deliver the printed matter to your home or to a drop-off point.
Every week we deliver the printed matter to your home or to another suitable drop-off point. You must always check that you have received the correct items.
In the Distributor Web tool you can see which items you should receive, and how many of each type.
Distributor Web
Your work tool.
In order to enable you to deliver the advertising quickly and easily, when you are working you will have access to a work tool called the Distributor Web, which contains maps, address lists and telephone numbers for your contact.
The Distributor Web contains a list of the addresses you must deliver to. It is very important to follow the numbering on the address list - it's the quickest way and it's always correct.
Where can you find information on where to deliver the advertising?
Target groups
We deliver to different types of household.
Our various advertisers have different types of target groups. This means that sometimes different advertising has to be delivered to different types of household. Some advertising must only be delivered to detached houses, some only to apartments and some only to owner-occupied apartments. Your Distributor Web tool will tell you which households you must deliver the advertising to.
In your address list, detached houses are marked with the symbol:
Apartments are marked with the symbol:
Which households must you deliver to if this symbol is included in the address list:
Plan your day
Don't get stressed, start in good time!
Start delivering in good time so you don't run out of time.
Deliveries are always on Saturdays or Sundays between 8 am and 8 pm - your local office will tell you what applies to you.
When is advertising delivered?
The letterbox
Slip the advertising right into the post box/letterbox.
It is very important to slip the advertising right into the post box/letterbox so it is protected from wind and rain and doesn't give people the idea that nobody is at home.
Delivery done!
Sometimes you will have advertising left over.
Once you've finished your delivery, any advertising which is left over will be collected by Svensk Direktreklam in accordance with the instructions you receive from us. You must not throw any left over away.
What should you do with any left over advertising?
Sickness and leave
It is important that you let us know.
If you are sick you must let us know as soon as possible so we can find a replacement for you. If you get ill during the weekend please contact us as instructed as quickly as possible.
Controll
We check the delivery every week.
In order to make sure that you have delivered to all the households in your district we make calls to check after every delivery. The people we call are randomly selected and spread over the entire district.
Last question:
How often do we check that households have received the advertising?
